The official journals of the ISSIA society are Image Analysis & Stereology and Journal of Microscopy.

Image Analysis & Stereology

Image Analysis & Stereology promotes the exchange of scientific, technical, organizational and other information on the quantitative analysis of data having a geometrical structure, including stereology, differential geometry, image analysis, image processing, mathematical morphology, stochastic geometry, statistics, pattern recognition, and related topics. The fields of application are not restricted and range from biomedicine, materials sciences and physics to geology and geography. IAS is published by the Slovenian Society for Stereology and Quantitative Image Analysis.

Image Analysis & Stereology is a continuation of Acta Stereologica that is archived in the PoPuPS platform at the University of Liège Library.

Journal of Microscopy

Journal of Microscopy is for scientists and technologists that use any form of microscopy, spatially resolved spectroscopy, compositional mapping, microanalysis and image analysis. This includes technology and applications in physics, chemistry, material and biological sciences. The Journal of Microscopy is particularly interested in papers on original applications and developments in microscopy. Journal of Microscopy is published by The Royal Microscopical Society.
