The 14th European Congress for Stereology and Image Analysis held in Prague from September 15 to 18 brought together 50 participants from 17 countries. We would like to thank the local organizing committee for successfully organizing the conference and all the speakers for excellent presentations. The ISSIA General Assembly was held during the conference, where the members discussed society's activities, voted on the new ISSIA president and approved new board members. The new president of ISSIA is prof. Dorothy E. Oorschot. The new members of the ISSIA Board are Zbyněk Pawlas and Zhiqiang Chen. We want to congratulate the new members that will contribute significantly to the activities of ISSIA!
The PhD competition award winner was Dr. Maiken Krogsbæk Bøgh and her work was presented by Jens R. Nyengaard at the official award ceremony during the conference.
