His PhD thesis "La géométrie aléatoire pour la caractérisation 3D de populations denses de particules: application aux écoulements diphasiques" was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Johan Debayle at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne (France) and co-supervised by Sophie Charton and Fabrice Lamadie who are research engineers at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).

Many thanks go to the members of the committee who have diligently reviewed all applications for the competition:

  • Prof. Eric Pirard, University of Liège, Belgium
  • Dr. Santiago Velasco-Forero, Mines ParisTech, France

A ceremony will be held at the 13th European Congress for Stereology and Image Analysis, where Dr. Mathieu De Langlard will present the main results of his PhD.
